Howdy folks.
For my entire life, I have lived in the rustic and historical county of Bucks County, Pa. -- which long ago transformed itself from an olde worlde colonial type community that George Washington would recognize into a connected group of exurban housing tracts with cool names like Yardley, Solebury, Buckingham, Dolington, New Hope, Churchville, and Quakertown.
From what I see, Bucks County has become the epicenter of post-modern exurban political thought, tempered by the personalities of the nearby cities of Philadelphia and Trenton, NJ.
Bucks County is home to multi-millionaires on sprawling estates with quarter-horse stables, and to long out-of-work steelworkers who still dream of the days in which the red glow of the open hearth could be seen and smelled for miles.
But for all its charm, all is not well. Bucks County is in dire need of a good, local news network (newspaper) ... one that can honestly and fairly disseminate the news of the day, without the type of wimpy PC-liberation mindset that unfortunately grips the majority of left-wing 'journalists' in America today.
Soooo... if anyone out there want to join this impromptu Bucks County related blog on Townhall, drop me an email.
Or post a comment. My name is Dave. Feel free to get in touch.
